What is Cat Walk Portland?
Cat Walk Portland is a free, self-guided neighborhood stroll featuring window-loving cats.
Participants will begin at For Paws PDX, where they'll receive a printed map before heading out to explore the neighborhood. Along the route, you'll spot participating cats from the sidewalk while learning a little about each of them.

What happens during the event?
Pick up a map at For Paws PDX and follow the route through the neighborhood to spot participating cats relaxing in their favorite windows.
Can I pet the cats?
No. Cats will be viewed from the sidewalk only. Please help us keep everyone comfortable by respecting each home's space.
Do I need a ticket?
Nope! Just show up at For Paws between 2–4 PM.
Is the event family friendly?
Absolutely!
Can my cat participate?
If you live in or near the Division/Clinton neighborhood and have a cat who enjoys hanging out in the window, we'd love to have you join us!

What if a cat isn't in the window when I walk by?
Cats are wonderfully unpredictable! While we hope everyone is enjoying their favorite window, participating cats are volunteers, so we can't guarantee every cat will be visible throughout the event.
Is there a cost?
The event is free to attend. Donations benefiting CAT Adoption Team are welcome.
Can I bring my dog?
We kindly ask that you leave dogs at home so participating cats can relax and enjoy watching visitors from their windows.

Cat Walk Portland was inspired by Pickles, the beloved namesake of Sweet Pickles Designs. What began as a way to honor one extraordinary cat has become a celebration of cats, community and connection.

Volunteer tasks may include:
- Handing out maps at the event start
- Setting up or hanging signs
- Helping answer questions and welcome attendees
- Having a great time celebrating cats!
